Condition Guide

At dinfodboldtroje, we sell exclusive and rare football shirts, where the condition of the shirt is an important factor for both collectors and enthusiasts.

We rate all shirts on a scale from 10/10 to 5/10, so you always know exactly what condition the shirt is in before you buy it.

Furthermore, we primarily sell used shirts. Therefore, there will naturally be signs of wear on some of the shirts.

10/10 - BNWT

A shirt in 10/10 condition is like new, or it may even be completely unused. There are no signs of wear, discoloration, or damage to prints, logos, or badges. All seams are intact, and the shirt is in exactly the same condition as it was when it was produced.

• No stains, pulls, or damage.
• The colors are clear and bright.
• No signs of use.

9/10 - Minimal pulls, small marks

Shirts in 9/10 condition look almost new, but may have very minor signs of use, only visible upon close inspection.

• Very slight signs of washing or use.
• The colors are still strong, and the print is intact.
• Small, almost invisible marks may occur.

8/10 - Very good condition

A shirt in 8/10 condition has been used and washed a few times but is still in great condition.

• Minor wear on prints or logos may be visible, but nothing serious.
• Colors may be slightly faded but are still clear.
• Light signs of use, such as small stains or minimal pulls in the fabric.

7/10 - Good condition

Shirts in 7/10 condition show clearer signs of use but are still very presentable. These shirts are ideal for those who want a rare shirt at a good price.

• Visible but not serious signs of use and washing.
• Prints and badges may have slight wear or small cracks.
• Possibility of small stains or minor fading.

6/10 - Acceptable condition

A shirt in 6/10 condition has noticeable signs of use and wear but is still in usable condition.

• Wear on prints, logos, or badges is evident.
• Minor stains, pulls, or wear may be present.
• Colors may be faded, but the shirt is still recognizable and in order.

5/10 - Used condition

Shirts in 5/10 condition have significant wear but can still be valuable for collectors who don't necessarily aim for perfection.

• Prints or badges may be noticeably damaged or cracked.
• Larger stains or marks are present.
• The fabric may have pulls or have become loose in some areas.

Hand wash

We always recommend that you wash your football shirts by hand. This is the gentlest way to wash them and helps preserve both colours, prints, and badges for longer. Follow these steps for hand washing:

• Fill a basin or sink with cold water.
• Use a mild soap or detergent suitable for delicate fabrics.
• Soak the shirt for approximately 10-15 minutes.
• Gently rub the fabric together in areas with stains or dirt – avoid rubbing directly on the print or badges.

Turn the shirt inside out

When washing your shirt, it is important to turn it inside out before you start. This helps protect:

Prints and logos: By turning the shirt inside out, you prevent the print from wearing out or being damaged.

Badges: Protect sewn or glued badges from being scratched or coming loose during washing.

Avoid machine washing and tumble drying

While it may be tempting to throw the shirt in the washing machine, we advise against this, especially if the shirt has prints and badges. If you still choose to use a washing machine, you should:

• Use a delicate wash at a low temperature (max. 30 degrees).
